Code, Code, Revolution!
My name is Björn Sållarp and I currently work at Avantime AB in Stockholm as a systems architect and developer. Avantime is Microsoft partner and EPiServer premium solution partner and provides state of the art business web solutions. In my role as systems architect and developer I work closely with Svensk Fastighetsförmedling, developing their business through the biggest EPiServer based site traffice wise: www.svenskfast.se, as well as their EPiServer based intranet and Sharepoint based web applications. Svenskfast.se delivers an average 950.000 page views per day with hourly peaks over 100.000 page views per hour.
I also work closely with Electrolux and their worldwide EPiServer-Sharepoint based intranet, E-Gate. E-Gate is one of the largest EPiServer based intranets in the world and was awarded “One of the 10 best intranets in the world” in 2005 by Nielsen Norman Group. E-Gate is a unique combination of EPiServer and Sharepoint, with EPiServer as CMS platform and Sharepoint for colaboration in team sites. The two platforms are connected though a custom built SAML 2.0 SSO service.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend Anna, watch movies, reading and programming on personal projects such as iPhone programs and MightyLittle CMS. MightyLittle CMS is a .NET 3.5 based CMS that I develop together with my colleague Mikael Jönsson, also with Avantime.
