		<description>this has ruined my life i restored my iphone clicked back up and i didnt back up any thing. So now i have last all my music i have paid for and my apps thanks for the worst tip ever!!</description>

		<description>@Samuel. Yes, you will loose your personal data. SMS, contacts, music, videos, apps, notes etc. It&#039;s a factory reset. Make sure you store all your important stuff before restoring. If you have your phone connected to exchange that will take care of your contacts. iTunes takes care of apps, music etc. You should make a backup of your phone in iTunes but i am not entirely sure i you can restore that backup once you&#039;ve upgraded. My advice is not to take a chance and backup your most important stuff to your Mac/pc.</description>
